Second delivery of a Ressource school
On 30th of July, we visited a Ressource school in Klein Aub, our hands full of supplies and equipment for the school.
Again, appreciation and thanks to the Embassy of France for its financial support to buy stationery, sport and educational material for one year. The school had prepared a nice function which included some songs from the school choir. It was a festive event where the ambassador of France, Claire Bodonyi has offered a meal to the learners and their teachers.
The school is now equipped for one year.
Facts on the school:
128 learners are enrolled this year. It is a boarding school as pupils come from all over Namibia.
This school welcomes kids with special needs and teaches them specific skills such as cooking, wood and metal working, computer work, skills which enhance learners’ chances to find a job once they have finished school.
Learners are very happy to take part in this program as often they prefer manual work than studies.
We are sure that they will make good use of donations and will enjoy the sport games during their weekends.
